For the very first time, Canapy Furniture proudly joined the stage at IDS – the Interior Design Show 2025 in Toronto, Canada’s leading platform for all things design. Held annually in Toronto, IDS is more than a trade show — it’s a celebration of creativity, a marketplace for innovation, and a gathering point for the design world’s most forward-thinking brands, makers, and visionaries across North America.
Making our debut at IDS marked a significant milestone for us. As a Toronto-based Canadian brand with deep European design influence, it was our opportunity to introduce the Canapy story — rooted in craftsmanship, timeless form, and bespoke solutions — to a wider audience of interior designers, architects, retailers, and design lovers from across Canada and the United States.
We didn’t just bring furniture. We brought an experience, one defined by warm textures, quiet luxury, and thoughtful details that speak to how people live today. Our presence at the Interior Design Show was a bold first step, and one that reaffirms our commitment to creating furniture that elevates everyday spaces with enduring elegance.
SPOTLIGHT PIECE: THE EDGE LOUNGE MODULAR
At the heart of our IDS 2025 Toronto booth stood the Edge Lounge Modular, a true embodiment of Canapy’s design philosophy: versatile, bold, and tailored for modern living.
With its sculptural silhouette, generous proportions, and low-profile elegance, the Edge system invited visitors to not just observe, but to interact. Designed with modularity in mind, it adapts to a variety of layouts, from cozy residential corners to expansive hospitality settings.
Upholstered in our signature contract-grade fabrics, it balances form with function, softness with structure. The tactile materials, clean lines, and relaxed depth made it a natural gathering point during the show, a space where conversations flowed as easily as comfort.

Capri Armchair
Soft curves, sculpted comfort. The Capri Armchair turned heads with its effortlessly elegant form and cocooning silhouette. Upholstered in a creamy, contract-grade boucle, it invited guests to sink in and stay awhile. Designers praised its organic curvature and versatile scale, making it ideal for reading corners, boutique hotel suites, and contemporary lounges alike.

Cascade Coffee Table
Material-driven. Sculpturally grounded. The Cascade Coffee Table captivated visitors with its refined balance of natural stone, rich wood, and smoked glass. It’s a piece that doesn’t shout for attention, but effortlessly earns it. With a base crafted from warm walnut and a solid travertine column, the table brings earthy weight and architectural clarity. The smoked glass top floats above with subtle elegance, offering both contrast and lightness.

IDS 2025 in Toronto wasn’t just about showcasing, it was about connecting.
